How much does it cost to open a company in Bulgaria?
The Commercial Register fee is €28.12 when filed online and €56.24 on paper. Add notary fees (if signing on paper), the bank's account fee and our document preparation. The minimum share capital for an EOOD or OOD is €1.
EOOD or sole trader — which is better?

Can a foreigner open a company in Bulgaria?
Yes. EU and non-EU citizens can register an EOOD or OOD. You need a registered office address in Bulgaria, a manager and a bank account for the capital. See accounting for foreign-owned companies.
How long does it take?
Preparing the documents takes days; the Commercial Register usually registers the company within a few working days of filing. Online filing with an e-signature is the fastest route.
