What is the minimum wage in Bulgaria in 2026?
€620.20 per month for full-time work. It stays at this level for the whole of 2026.
How is net salary calculated?
Net pay is gross salary minus the employee's contributions (13.78%) and 10% income tax on the remainder. Try our gross-to-net salary calculator.
When must a new employee be notified?
Within 3 days of signing the employment contract and always before the employee starts work. Nobody should start work before the NRA notification is filed.
Who pays sick leave?
The employer pays the first three working days (70% of average daily gross pay); from day four the NSSI pays the benefit. We submit the data needed for payment.
What changes in 2027?
From 1 January 2027 length of service will be recorded in hours. We will prepare our clients' time records in good time.
